Why was my text rejected?
Common reasons a question or answer cannot be posted, and how to fix it.

Before a post is saved, we check the text. If something fails, you see a message and nothing is posted, so you can fix it and try again.
Email addresses and phone numbers
These are blocked for everyone, to protect your privacy and others'. Remove them and describe the problem in words.
Links
Links are not available at the New level. They unlock when you reach Member (20 points). Until then, describe where to find the information instead of pasting a link.
Hidden or unusual characters
Invisible characters and unsafe content are removed automatically. If your text looks different after posting, this is why.
Daily limits
Each level has a daily limit for questions and answers. If you reach it, you can post again the next day. See Levels and limits.
